Click here for the Denham Oaks PTA Denham Oaks Elementary School is located in the south central part of Pasco County. Our school has a diverse population of exceptional students and programs. The school provides many opportunities for inclusion for these children. Denham Oaks is involved in implementing the components of Continuous Progress. Our school is organized into primary houses (K, 1st, and 2nd grades) and intermediate houses (3rd, 4th, and 5th grades). The goal is to have the students working in learning environments with the same group of teachers for an extended period of time. This promotes continuity of caring and a knowledge of the needs of the individual students. Our school has a high level of parent involvement. Our parents are actively involved, volunteering and participating as members of the PTA, the School Advisory Council and the Dad's Club. We have received the Golden School Award each year based on our many volunteer hours and have received the Five Star School Award for the last three years due to a high level of community involvement. Denham Oaks Was designated an "A" school by the State of Florida. The school implemented an After School Tutoring program, the Extended Day program and a Writer's Workshop to provide additional academic support for our students.
