Wiregrass Ranch Celebrates Opening of SR 56 Extension with Inaugural Walk/Run Event

WESLEY CHAPEL, FL – Wiregrass Ranch in partnership with the Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce will be holding a Celebratory Inaugural Walk/Run on Saturday, July 31st to commemorate the opening of state road 56 extension in Pasco County. The privately funded and constructed roadway is one of the largest road projects in Pasco County in nearly 20 years.
The walk/run will be a 4 mile loop, with an optional 2 and 1 mile loop, beginning at the intersection of Mansfield Boulevard and the new extension of SR 56. Following the walk/run, a celebratory ribbon cutting ceremony will take place where county officials, local dignitaries, and members of the Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce will discuss the economic benefits of the new extension of SR 56, which opens the southern central portion of Pasco County.
