Effective January, 2009, the Wesley Chapel Bulls youth and cheer football program would like to introduce their new name and program. The Bulls arepart of the Pasco County Police Athletic League, which has been serving youth throughout PascoCounty since 1973. The new name draws the organization and community closer to the relationship with USF and shows the youth ourcommitment to get football players and cheerleaders ready for high school programs and beyond.
The Wesley Chapel Bulls are holding open registration for all youth with ages as of January 1st of 5 through 15. The age and weight requirements are:
Director,Glyn Erwin, says “I am excited about being the Director and working with ouryouth and those in our community. Of course everybody wants to win and we do too; however, we stress grades, good sportsmanship and understand the value of teamwork. With so many uncertainties out there regarding other school and rec programs, we want the community to know we are here for them.“
Athletic Director Dennis Goodloe has organized a great coaching staff this season. They are already hard at work attending coach’s training clinics, meetings, and organizing a professional off season camp open to the entire community and all PPAL participants.
Debi Ramos, Cheer Coordinator, has also been hard at work recruiting All Star Cheer Coachesand her staff is largely from the USF community.
